Some of the most creative and thought-provoking lyrics ever written can be heard on the newly released album “Chapter One” by the brand-new 18-year-old, cutting edge, U.K. artist Ella Henderson.
Besides her catchy verse, Ella’s overwhelmingly astonishing vocals make this album an essential and imperative must havE. “Chapter One” features the international hit single “Ghost,” now being aired in the US. Henderson wrote the song alongside One Republic’s Ryan Tedder.  The single recently entered the top 10 on the U.S. iTunes singles chart and has already gone platinum in the U.K. and Australia.

Beginning her career as a contestant on “The X Factor U.K.” in 2012, Ella was immediately signed to Simon Cowell’s label SYCO. She has since appeared on “Good Morning America,” “The Today Show,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “The 2014 American Music Awards” live preshow and “The Voice,” where she received a stand ovation from all of the judges.

The album contains 13 tracks, each telling an original story through Ella’s powerful voice, displaying an amazing vocal range. The songs that stand out on the release are “Empire,” a sex song with an upbeat chorus; “Yours,” a sentimental love story, both passionate and tender; “Mirror Man”; “Hard Work,” my own personal favorite; and of course “Ghost,” which is fast becoming a U.S. favorite.
