Winter Rendezvous – 2019: Gay Ski Week in Stowe, VT

The East Coast’s Best and Biggest LGBTQ Ski Event

Join us for the 35th annual pride celebration in Stowe, Vermont. The event coincides with Stowe’s Winter Carnival Festival and attracts hundreds of LGBTQ skiers, riders and winter enthusiasts to the quaint village of Stowe for five days of wintry bliss.

Participants experience a diverse lineup of activities and entertainment: skiing and snowboarding on Mount Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak at 4,393 feet, and Spruce Peak, offering 116 trails and 39 miles of terrain; world-class cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at the Trapp Family Lodge, the official Nordic Center of Winter Rendezvous; and other outdoor activities, including ice skating, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowmobiles, dog sledding, hot tubs and bonfires.

Ski Party Play is the theme of this action-packed event. Happenings include the opening party at Stowe’s boutique bowling alley with DJ Andrea Stamas; daily on-mountain après-ski parties; a VIP open-bar Bonfire Bash with complimentary cocktails, craft beer, wine and cheese; a fireside performance by singer Cory Allen Staats, courtesy of Green Mountain distillers, Trapp Brewery, Barefoot wine and Cabot Cheese; a giant indoor pool party at Trapp Lodge with DJ Rob Douglas; downhill drag-race competition hosted by Vermont’s own House of Lemay; and a closing dance party with DJ Steve Sidewalk and a live performance by legendary drag icon Lady Bunny. There is something for everyone, skiers and non-skiers alike, at Winter Rendezvous.

Winter Rendezvous takes place Wednesday, January 23, to Sunday, January 27, 2019, at Vail Resorts’ Stowe Mountain Resort. Information on lodging and event passes available at winterrendezvous.com.
