Club Evolution
After a complete makeover a few years ago, Club Evolution is better than ever. From the main dance floor to Enigma Lounge, Evolution is the place to be. Revolution Saturdays at Evolution is the hottest Latin dance party in all of New York City; things really heat up into the early hours of Sunday morning. With regular dancers, fashion shows, pageants, hookah and regular special events and parties, Club Evolution continues to reinvent itself.

Friend’s Tavern
Friend’s is Queens’ oldest gay bar, and there is a reason it is still going strong. It is packed from happy hour (4 p.m.) to close (4 a.m.) every night of the week. A block away from Club Evolution, guys like to hop back and forth between the two. Friend’s has karaoke, erotic bartenders and dancers and great drink specials in a welcome and friendly environment.

Music Bo x
Music Box is my favorite. DJ Rafael, who works almost every night, spins a wide variety of music. His music is one of the biggest draws to stop into this bar first upon arrival in Jackson Heights. Then the staff are friendly and fun. Gustavo has the place decorated with a complete makeover every week. The bartenders have been there quite a long time. With entertainment every night of the week, the hottest gogo boys and the best drag shows, Music Box is always busy.

True Colors
This bar has been renovated from front to back. It is a good chilling spot to stop in, enjoy your drink and have a conversation with the regulars. It is busier on the weekends than during weekdays, but when they throw a party, they really throw a party! Check out their listings inside the bar for details on upcoming events. And be sure to check out Johnny on Sunday for happy hour, when he serves up his own dishes of snacks that he’s become quite famous for.

Lucho’S PLACE
Lucho’s is open Wednesday through Sunday. On Wednesdays they serve up Tommy’s magic touch with sexy gogos. But be sure
to catch the shows too: Lucho’s is most known for its drag shows and pageants, plus the regulars who love them.

Hombres LOUNGE
This is the resident Friday and Saturday night spot of legendary DJ Eddie Cruz. It is wall-to-wall men here on a nightly basis, with guys who love everything from karaoke and dancing to fashion shows and pageants. The staff are Roosevelt veterans and have created one of the hottest spots in Jackson Heights.
