Where are you from originally, and what prompted you to move to New York?
I’m actually originally from Brooklyn, but I left when I was young and grew up mostly in Atlanta. In 2013 I moved to London, and it reminded me of how much of a big city boy I am at heart. After leaving London, I knew it was time to experience NYC as an adult. I’ve been back for three years now.
Aside from being in sexy pictures, what are you into? How do you involve yourself in New York’s gay nightlife?
I’ve been a hair colorist for 10 years. That’s my passion and what I’ll probably retire doing. But I like to have multiple streams of income, so I also go-go and host parties. I’m launching a new party on July 28 at Putnam’s in Clinton Hill. It’s a ‘90s hip-hop and R&B party called Double Dutch, and I’m really excited!
What advice would you give someone who wants to become as fit as you are?
1.) Paleo. 2.) I use an app called Bodyspace that lets me pick a workout plan and then tells me exactly what to do every day. It tells me the exercises, amount of sets, amount of reps and records all of the weight that I used, so I’m not guessing the next time. It basically provides accountability for me to do a complete workout. Otherwise I would totally cheat, do half of what I’m supposed to do and leave the gym early.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Hmmm. I’m a top who wants to be vers by the end of the summer. Does that count?
How do you want to be remembered?
As the guy who always did the choreography to “Slave For You” every single time it came on.
What do you feel is your biggest accomplishment in life thus far?
Finding an affordable and spacious place to live in this city with some fucking privacy. Let the church say AMEN!
