THE BOILER ROOM

New Location 45 2nd Ave – 2 Streets from 2nd ave F Train Subway Station

After 32 years in business, the Boiler Room has relocated. Still in the East Village, the Boiler Room has a new address and new space. The General Manager, Mr. Randy Weinberg, is still in charge. He has kept things together since 1995. “Now, with apps and other platforms, we are working together to make sure our customers are aware of our new location. Our bartender Alec has been with us for 25 years. He knows most of our regulars by name and of course what they drink. He makes it a safe place to talk about whatever is on your mind. He has some great stories and is so funny. Come in early Tuesday-Friday and you will see him and our new staff additions Jon, Shane, David and Laney. The bar opens at 2pm Tuesday through Saturday, 4pm Sunday/Monday for an amazing Happy Hour. Well drinks start $4 and after 8pm they go up to $5. Tap Pint, (Bud lite -Coors) are also $5. We also offer Espresso Martinis and Green Tea Shots during Alec’s shifts and a Manhattan (without a cherry). Right now, we are CASH only; we do have an ATM inside.

“The whole interior is gorgeous brick walls and dark wood floors. The bar runs across the room, we have the pool table from the previous space and a jukebox filled with top hits. So what’s next for the new space? We have Monday nights; “Big Gay Karaoke” Tuesdays; “Boys Nite” Wednesday is Martini nite; and for Thursday, we are planning an Artist Exhibit night. We have wall space available. We are also available for private events and can rent the space for your birthday, wedding or a book signing or even a movie. There is a lower level in the works, which will have a

dance floor with live DJ and shows, with a sexy lounge.

“We are planning on having Pride month in this new space since last year we were closed during the relocation process. But this June, we will be ready and with our new event planner, we will have a great time getting the party going and showcasing many diferent theme’ parties. Still keeping our afordable Happy Hour menu, but you are also welcome to bring food in and eat here. We have places you

could order from, if necessary. Right now, the goal is to let everyone know where to find us and let them see that the new space is pumping. We decided to start new Social Media pages with new images and updates. Our Instagram is boilerroomnyclgbtq and Facebook is Boilerrroomnyc Bar or visit www.boilerroomnyc.net.”
