SEATEA 2015

Famed New York gay nightclub maestro Michael Fesco pulls off a fabulous weekly party every Sunday in season aboard his triple-deck yacht, the J.J. This 125-foot yacht features comfort, sound and sights with lounges, a dance floor and the spectacular sky deck with panoramic views of the Manhattan and New Jersey skylines. Bring a camera!

The weekly Sunday party features New York’s popular nightclub DJs with a different theme and crowd on each cruise. See the schedule for details. Many cruises include special performances by famous drag entertainers and hot male go-go dancers. Your ticket includes a free gourmet buffet dinner served after departure with several cash bars offering top-shelf drinks as well as bottled water, juice and soda.

This year SeaTea is bringing back Wigstock! As Michael Musto stated in “OUT” magazine: “And here’s the best entertainment news of all. Wigstock is returning! The long-running outdoor drag festival – which rocked NYC from the ‘80s to the aughts, starting in Tompkins Square Park – is partnering with SeaTea for a giant, high-heeled boat ride on a huge yacht named the Hybrid, on August 16. Host Lady Bunny and co-organizer Scott Lifshutz are pulling out all the stops for this wild and wacky tour that will surpass Gilligan’s in all its giddy glitz and glory. Imagine all those drama queens on Dramamine?”

SeaTea will be pulling out all the stops and using a fabulous, even bigger yacht—The Hybrid—to ferry these glitzy, glam, giddy, funny fairies though the night with its glassed-in floor-to-ceiling middle deck. What better way to show off your jewels?

Still not convinced? The name Michael Fesco was synonymous with New York gay nightlife. In 1969 the party promoter originated Tea Dance, an event that grew from a single club into a global multi-million dollar franchise. Although he has no connection to the current parties other than the concept, he continues to have his hand in the game. His event, SeaTea: New York’s Only Gay Sailing Tea Dance, sails into its 19th season this summer and continues to deliver the Fesco experience. He knows how to throw a hot Sunday party, before we knew we needed it!

Not into the “party”? No problem! Relax, sit back on the various indoor/outdoor decks and enjoy NYC from the river. Watch it change from daywear to evening clothes. Magical! This is a great way to entertain those out-of-town guests.

Need more? SeaTea is the only place for Pride weekend! Skip the crowds, relax and have a front row seat for the closing fireworks from the river, provided by Heritage of Pride. Awesome!
PRIDE WEEKEND:

Saturday “Muscle Bears Cruise” advance will be $30. If you buy at the stores, there will be no service charge. At the Pier: $35. Sunday Gay Pride Day: $35 in advance. $40 online and at the pier. Two boats will be sailing on Pride Day, with the “Latin Music Boat” complementing the regular SeaTea.
