SEA TEA 2014!

WELCOME TO THE “RE-BIRTH” – OR “RE-BERTH” – OF SEA TEA 2014! THIS WILL BE SEA TEA’S 18TH SEASON! ALL THOSE BOYS WHO WHERE TOO YOUNG 18 YEARS AGO ARE NOW OVER 21. SO THEY CAN NOW GO SAILING WITH US TOO!

Yes, we are back at our Pier 40 in the West Village and we’ve renovated. We’re now on a new, sleek, modern yacht, The Hornblower’s J.J. Yes, we will still be serving up the “Tea” every Sunday. You’ll love the new thoroughly air- conditioned yacht for your enjoyment, and yes, we still serve dinner (included)! The DJs you love will make it the “Love Boat” starting off with the Muscle Bears Cruise, Saturday, June 28, DJ Jonny Mack; Gay Pride Cruise, Sunday, June 29, DJ Randy Bettis; and through the season DJs include Johnny Dynell, Steve Sidewalk, DJ Cameron, Eddie Elias, DJ Joseph, Phillip Kimball, Michael Wilson, Max Rodriguez and ending the season, Robbie Leslie. NYC party producer, promoter and host Dougie Meyer will be joining the team of Sea Tea, NYC’s largest and longestrunning gay party cruise, as the director of events and promotions for the upcoming sailing season.

Still not convinced? The name Michael Fesco was synonymous with New York gay nightlife. In 1969 the party promoter originated Tea Dance, an event that grew from a single club into a global multi-million dollar franchise. Although he has no connection to the current parties other than the concept, he continues to have his hand in the game. His event, Sea Tea: New York’s Only Gay Sailing Tea Dance, sails into its 18th season this summer and continues to deliver the Fesco experience. He knows how to throw a hot Sunday party, before we knew we needed it!

Not into the “party?”…no problem, relax, sit back on the various indoor/outdoor decks and enjoy NYC from the river. Watch it change from daywear to evening clothes…magical. This is a great way to entertain those out-of-town guests. Need more? Sea Tea is the only place for Pride Weekend. Skip the crowds and relax and have a “front-row seat” for the closing fireworks from the river, provided by Heritage of Pride. Awesome!

SUNDAY, GAY PRIDE DAY:
$40 until June 29, then $50 on line and at the Pier. And of course, we still have TWO boats sailing on Pride Day, including the Latin Pride on the Serenity hosted by Club
Evolution. To avoid service fees for tickets, you can go to Village Apothecary, 346 Bleecker St, and at Delphinium Home, 353 W 47th St
