It has been more than a month since the loss of Grammy Award-winning DJ/producer Peter Rauhofer, who lost his battle with brain cancer on May 7. A lot of DJs become irrelevant after a short stint on top, but Peter has always stayed relevant. Peter left the world on top of his game, happy, and having accomplished everything that he set out to achieve; he was known for his amazing music that has literally changed the face of the music scene, influencing his fans and other DJs alike. Peter Rauhofer’s WORK! party was his own creation, through and through; he always oversaw every detail no matter how small. This event was always one of Peter’s favorite events of the year and, likewise, his fans’. You could always see his attention to detail and passion in the results of every event that he produced. This year, Chus & Ceballos (Spain) headline the event along with Isaac Escalante (Mexico), Eddie Martinez (New York) and other special guest DJs. Like his other events, Peter oversaw many of the details. This party is his theme, his line up and his concept. Peter Rauhofer always believed in the quality of the artists with whom he worked. He always wanted the best for all of his events; the party is no different. This will be the ultimate tribute to his life, his work and to all of the fans that have supported him throughout the years. All proceeds for WORK! Ultimate Champions will benefit Fuck Cancer.

WORK! Presents Ultimate Champions: A Tribute to Peter Rauhofer at 10 p.m. on June 29, 2013, at Roseland Ballroom. Tickets are available at www.wanttickets.com/nycpride or at Rufskin (Chelsea) and TAGG (Hell’s Kitchen)
