Nothing’s Gonna Stop DJ Jace M

Jace M is ready to light up the NYC nightlife with the premiere of his latest single, Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us, on April 25 at Eagle Nightclub. While he hasn’t confirmed whether he’ll drop the original or one of the sultry remixes, fans can expect an unforgettable night. “There’s a good chance I’ll play this record at the Eagle in NYC,” Jace teased in a recent interview. “Who doesn’t love a great anthem! The question is, will I play this original or one of the amazing remixes we have coming out just a few days before on April 22? I am really digging Brady Prince’s remix. It’s sexy AF for an Eagle dance floor!”

The track, a reimagined version of Starship’s 1987 smash hit Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now, is more than a nostalgic throwback. Produced in collaboration with Toy Armada, the anthem has been transformed for today’s dancefloors while keeping the emotional core of the original intact. Originally performed by Grace Slick and Mickey Thomas and famously featured in the film Mannequin, the song reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned an Academy Award nomination. In this modern retelling, vocalists Chandler Mogel and Zoe Lyons Nieves lend powerhouse performances that honor the legacy while bringing a fresh, electrifying energy.

Jace M sees the new version as an anthem of love, unity, and resilience—making it the perfect track to kick off Pride season. “It’s an empowering anthem about unstoppable love, resilience, and unity,” he said. “The joyful chorus screams ‘We’re here,’ and that is what Pride is all about. The lyrics—‘Let the world around us just fall apart, baby we can make it if we’re heart to heart’—are all about solidarity. It’s about pushing through judgment and barriers with confidence.”

But the song’s release isn’t just about the music—it’s a mission. Jace and Toy are partnering with the National LGBTQ+ Task Force, one of Jace’s favorite charities, donating 25% of the proceeds from the track to support the organization’s advocacy work. The duo also granted the Task Force an unlimited license to use the song in campaigns for Winter Party, the iconic Miami-based celebration benefiting LGBTQ+ rights. “They are like family to me,” Jace shared. “We initially wanted to remix the original and donate it to them, but we decided to re-record an original version to avoid copyright issues. Now they have full use of it to continue their fight for our rights.”

Jace M is no stranger to the Eagle stage, having last performed there over President’s Day Weekend. “It was a lot of fun,” he said. “I plan on bringing my signature uplifting sound—plus some dark sexiness—back to the Eagle. It’s one of my favorite places to play, and I love coming back!”

Whether he spins the original anthem or one of its seductive remixes, one thing is certain: nothing’s gonna stop Jace M from turning the Eagle into a dance-fueled celebration of Pride, passion, and purpose.
