Lady Bunny, NYC’s iconic drag queen and comedian, is set to take the stage at 3 Dollar Bill in Brooklyn on Sunday, November 3 at 7:00 PM with her new show Don’t Bring the Kids! Produced by Voss Events, the performance promises to be a wild, no-holds-barred comedy and cabaret extravaganza, delivering the unapologetic humor that Bunny is famous for. Packed with new material and plenty of jaw-dropping moments, audiences are in for a night of outrageous laughter, with the potential for some to even “soil themselves with excitement,” as Bunny herself might say.

As ever, Lady Bunny will bring her signature blend of filthy humor and politically incorrect commentary. With the 2024 election approaching, Bunny is more than aware of the public’s need for a distraction. “People need a break from the news,” she says, though she does promise a cheeky nod to current events with a song about drag queen story hours and a humorous audience-participation number about Joe Biden. The rest of the show dives headfirst into a mix of hilarious new parodies and satirical commentary, with topics ranging from Ozempic to P. Diddy, and even a few jabs at fellow drag star Trixie Mattel. Bunny promises new takes on old hits, transforming “Murder on the Dance Floor” into “Ru Struggles on the Dance Floor” and reimagining Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” as the delightfully campy “Born This Gay.”

Bunny’s talent for over-the-top impersonations will also be on display—most notably in what she calls “the world’s worst Cher impersonation.” With typical self-deprecating humor, she quips, “Growing up, I always wanted to be Cher, but I wound up looking more like Chaz Bono instead.”

The title of the show, Don’t Bring the Kids!, serves as both a clever marketing ploy and a serious warning. Lady Bunny developed her act in late-night clubs, where twisted humor thrived and children were never part of the equation. She’s quick to poke fun at conservative critics who label her a groomer, quipping, “Have they seen my wigs? I can barely groom myself!”

With Bunny’s unmatched ability to push boundaries and keep audiences laughing, Don’t Bring the Kids! is a must-see for anyone who enjoys drag humor at its most unfiltered. For more details and to purchase tickets, visit VossEvents.com.
