Jesse Luttrell @54 Below

The Glamorous, Glittery Jesse Luttrell, best known for Vaudeville, Burlesque , hit show Bawdy, is going solo at 54 Below for the very first time. On January 29th at 930 PM, you will be treated to an unusual talent from a popular member of the community, who has never ceased to amaze me with his Swing, Song  and ENCHANTMENT!Those that have seen Jesse live quickly became addicted to his showmanship and magic. Don’t miss it!

What can your followers and fans expect from your one night only show? What type of music will you be performing?
Believe it or not this is my FIRST time performing an entire solo evening with this incredible band. These are the best musicians on broadway playing music arranged by Fred Barton who has orchestrated for some of the best pops orchestras in the nation including our very own New York Pops.  I’m doing a lot of new material (new to me anyway) including big band, show music, and even some Peter Allen tunes.

What are you calling it and where and when is it?
The show’s called JESSE LUTTRELL with the Fred Barton Broadway Band:  The Modern-Day Vaudevillian Evokes The Showstopper Tradition. Friday January 29th, 9:30 PM at Feinstein’s/54 Below.

What is going on with Bawdy?
After an incredible 6 years of BAWDY hijinks, I’ve put the show on hold to concentrate on my solo work, but don’t worry we’ll be bringing it back for our fans if the demand is high enough.

Will you be wearing your usual for Below 54 performance?
54 Below is pretty swanky, but don’t worry: I don’t leave home without a little sparkle.

For those who might not be familiar with Jesse, give us a brief bio on yourself?
Jesse Luttrell starred in his critically acclaimed vaudeville/burlesque musical revue Bawdy, running monthly in NYC from 2009 to 2015 off broadway. For three years, he has been a featured headliner in “American Showstoppers,” the acclaimed showtune concert series with the Fred Barton Orchestra at Pace University’s Michael Schimmel Center, the Leon Goldstein PAC in Brooklyn, and the Maria Ciccone Theatre at Bergen College. Benefit special appearances include the annual glittering Night Of A Thousand Gowns. Jesse’s first CD, with the Fred Barton Broadway Band, is featured on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, etc., and is being streamed daily to countless fans around the world.  www.jesseluttrell.com

Will you be featuring songs from your album at this performance?
Yes, and a lot of the musicians onstage with me will have played on the album as well!

Where can someone get tickets?
Tickets and information are available at www.54Below.com, on my website JesseLuttrell.com or by calling (646) 476-3551.

What’s new for Jesse in 2016 and beyond?
I’m hoping that you’ll see a lot more of my solo concert work, and maybe even some theatre in my future.  It’s been awhile since I’ve left town to do a musical, and I do like touring: but maybe its time for me to do one IN TOWN.
