Who is Jasmine International?
Jasmine International is someone who no matter what is always happy, loving, dedicated, passionate, giving and sincere but most of all takes her entertainment career extremely serious and works hard to achieve her goals.

Where does Jazmine come from?
Jazmine comes from a very small island but with a big heart called Puerto Rico, born in Rio Piedra and raised In a small town called Loiza.

What made you transition into the women you are today?
Since an early age I always felt different (like I was born in the wrong body) raised by my mother, sister, along with my female cousins and my aunts. It was growing up with nothing but women and seeing how they supported each other and held each other down that made me realize how I wanted to be just like them, a powerful woman.

What have been your biggest challenges and weakness, and what have you done to overcome them?
My biggest challenge was flying around the world and showing my talent and my dedication for my career. The way I overcame my fears was by always keeping my professionalism and dedication. My biggest weakness is my vulnerability in thinking that everyone I encounter is truly a friend when in reality they are just looking to shine and use me. This is why I have learned through the year to keep my circle of friends extremely intimate, only letting those with a true, genuine heart of gold like mine into my life.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?
I have traveled to many cities, states and countries like Tokyo, Thailand, Hawaii and Florida. I can truly say at this point of my life that I have accomplished one of my biggest goals, although I’m not done yet!

People have always loved to watch you transform into Jennifer Lopez on stage. Has she ever reached out to you?
Omg! I really love her and admire her for being a Latina Puerto Rican woman like myself. One of my biggest goals and dreams is to finally meet her face to face. I am currently working with a group of people who work closely with her, for a three-month project, which I cannot talk about at this time. Maybe touring with her? Hmm, hey, you never know!

What pageants have you been in and what crowns have you held?
So far my goals of holding major titles are as follows: Miss Universe Latina USA (winner),
Miss Zigfield Latina (winner),
Miss American Goddess (sixth runner-up),
Miss Lusho’s New York (winner),
Miss Continental USA (first time – fifth runner-up,second time – fourth runner-up, third time – eighth runner-up),
Miss First Lady DC (winner),
Miss Virginia ICON Continental(winner),
Miss Bay Area Continental (winner),
Miss Krash (winner), Miss New York AMG (winner),
Miss Mexico Mundo Latina (winner),
Miss Puerto Rico International Queen (winner),
Miss Mundo International USA (winner).

Where do you see yourself in five years from now?
One of my future goals is owning my own business, which is something I have started putting into place.

What’s next on the agenda for Jasmine International?
A lot of work, flying, plus I’ve been working on putting my story together based on my life.

Who are the people you want to acknowledge?
I definitely want to thank God who without him I wouldn’t be able to accomplish my goals. Definitely my mother, Gloria Lopez, my brother Francisco Jimenez, my lovely sister, Gloribel Jimenez, and my beautiful nephews, Angel, Kidanys, Naffet and Franky Junior. I thank them for the full support and strength they provide me with. To my beautiful friends, who are forever, Chanel International, my gorgeous sons, Jose International, Isaiha International, my wonderful, talented, lovely makeup artist, Tia Carera, my amazing designer, Joshuan Aponte, who always makes me look beautiful to my photographer, Lolo aka Lorenzo, and my mother in the industry who took me under her wings, my gay mom, Maria Chiquinquira.
Definitely to all the promoters, club owners and fans, thank you from the bottom of my heart for always believing in me and giving me the opportunity to expose my talent.

Don’t miss Jazmine International’s cover party with a special show on April 19 at the Easter Weekend extravaganza presented by GetOut! Magazine and Studio 2000at El Morocco, 3534 Broadway in New York City.
