“Each song is an incredible example of Black excellence in music,” Jack Tracy explains. “At the very least, I hope the EP inspires people to go back and give the originals the second listen they deserve.”
The Intermission EP will be released on all major streaming platforms this Friday, the night before Jack Tracy performs original music at HOT! Festival, a queer artist showcase being held at NYC’s Dixon Place.
In addition to songs from Intermission, Jack Tracy will perform original tracks from his Love Yah EP, including his brand-new remix of “Don’t Compare.” Joining him on stage to perform their latest works will be out artists J.R. Price, Mel Lennon, Marcel The Artist, Vegas Valentine and Javarr.
“Showcases like HOT! Festival are important for the community, because as independent LGBTQ+ artists, it is difficult to get original music into people’s ears,” says Jack Tracy.
Also part of HOT! Festival, Jack Tracy and his co-host, JJ Bozeman, will deliver a live version of their Dying Alone, Together podcast. The broadcast will take place this Thursday, and will feature the guys providing hilarious commentary as they troll the gay dating apps. They will be joined by special guest Brandon James Gwynn, promoting his new BULLIT album.
Jack’s Tracy’s “Intermission” is being distributed independently and will be available for streaming on August 13. His podcast, “Dying Alone, Together” is currently available on all streaming platforms. Visit https://www.jacktracy.lgbt.
