O-69 takes on a whole new meaning Monday nights at Posh Bar & Lounge with Hot Bingo hosted by Gusty Winds.
“While calling bingo I entertain the crowd with stories of what’s going on in my life, which usually involves my exploits of hooking up with men on Craigslist, but we will save that for your sex issue,” Gusty tells us.
Taking place Monday nights from 9-11 p.m., each round of Hot Bingo is free to play (except the final round – more on that in a minute). Winners of each round spin the Hot Bingo prize wheel to win prizes from free shots to dinner for two at area restaurants. In the final round, bingo boards cost $2 each, with all of the cash collected added to a jackpot, which is taken home by the winner. (Our sources say jackpots average around $120 a week.)
Hot Bingo, which has been a staple at Posh for more than five years, originally was hosted by drag diva Ginger Snapt. “Ginger and I have similar senses of humor, though I have a tendency to be slightly more vulgar, and I overshare waaaay too often,” Gusty says. A group of regulars and Hot Bingo newcomers each week don’t seem to mind, with Gusty’s hilarious mid-game anecdotes and performances between rounds making for a raucous good time.
