Rapper Nasty Nick, the openly gay rapper from Staten Island, is promoting the release of his second CD, “West Side
Story.” It’s been over a year since iTunes debuted his first album, “Lost in the Shuffle,” so he was very eager to talk about his newest project.
“This album has an edgier feel to it, a more street-oriented sound, and will feature longtime collaborator Anna Monroe, to name a few,” Nasty Nick says. With several months of recording behind him, the album is now in the final recording stages, and video production for the first single “Love Me” has just finished. In addition to wrapping up the album, shooting music videos and photo shoots, the rapper will also be performing live at the 23rd Annual Jersey Pride Festival in Asbury Park on Sunday , June 2. “West Side Story” is scheduled for release in September, but you can check out the video for “Love Me” on iTunes and via YouTube on Nasty Nick TV beginning August 1.
