G Lounge

G Lounge, NYC’s premier gay lounge and nightspot, has been setting the standard for 17 years. Still wildly popular, the “original gay lounge” keeps it fresh and innovative with an unparalleled lineup of the city’s hottest DJs, electric hosts, diverse parties and a staff that has all the class without the attitude.

Couple Franco DiLuzio and Mark Lander have been at the helm of events and promotions for G for more than 10 years combined, including annual special events such as the 10th Annual Pride Luau, which transforms the entire bar into a full-scale tiki-bar; New Year’s Eve-a-Go-Go, with the sexiest boys and free champagne toast at midnight; and themed Halloween events with costume contests. The team introduced recurring weeknight parties in 2005 with GORGEOUS, featuring DJ Lina, an immediate success that ran for five years. Shortly thereafter they began employing nightlife personalities such as Matty Maggiacomo, Joey Israel, GoGo Harder, Amanda LePore, Bianca Del Rio, Matt Tratner, Matt Camp, Devin Stone and others to promote and host events such as KUTE, BoyBox, DiLF and POPLife using the talents of DJs Xavier, Cazwell, David Marc, Jonny Mack, Keo Nozari, JonJon Battles and G-head DJ Dr Brooks, to name a few. Guest hosts have included top names in adult entertainment such as Erik Rhodes, Arpad Miklos and Kennedy Carter and gender illusionists Sahara Davenport, Logan Hardcore and many others.

The latest changes are with the weekends. In October, the long-running KUTE party, now in its fourth year, was handed over to another promoting couple, Frankie Carasquallo and Kevin Wiltz, who present 4-Ever KUTE. Now starting at 8 p.m. with an open vodka bar, they added new personalities such as MacKenzie at the door and introduced the sounds of Stephen Paul in addition to Xavier. Two new parties are set to launch, beginning on November 12 with Chris Ryan Productions presenting TWIST’D Saturdays. Chris and partner Will Porto will target a younger demographic offering a night of chaotic fun including interactive “nearly nude” Twister with go-go boys, flashing light drink specials all night and POP House DJs beginning with Ricardo Torres. Later this fall, G will launch International HOT-MALE Fridays featuring hot international and local DJs and hosts including Billy Lace, DeMarko!, Alex Lauterstein, Jalil Zougagh, Ronen Mizrahi and Angelos Stylano. “In addition to the changes we made this spring and summer, our core customers and new-found followers will be surprised and pleased with the weekend changes as G once again leads the neighborhood in nightlife fun and pleasant surprises,” DiLuzio says. “And let’s not forget our daily G’Licious Happy Hour offering $4 house drinks and $3 domestic beers from 4 to 9 p.m.,” Lander adds.

G Lounge’s motto has always been “often imitated, never duplicated,” which continues to ring true as DiLuzio, Lander and the G staff commit to providing the hottest nights and finest cocktails in a welcoming and creative environment, while their dynamic cast of DJs and hosts keep you groovin’ every night until 4 a.m.
