One of my favorite times of year is June, when the temperature begins to rise, and the onset of sizzling summer can be felt all around. So what better way to celebrate the heat? Buying a new bathing suit, of course! Where better to buy them than Diesel? I tried on so many that I really liked, and ended up taking home the ones I was sure would help crank up the Fahrenheit a couple of extra degrees!

One of the great things about working hard is the ability to relax at the end of the day, and also trying on sexy swimwear. Since the release of my debut album, “Now After All I’ve Done,” in early 2012, I have been busy promoting and performing, but I can’t let summer pass me by without enjoying all of what it has to offer. Pride will be here before we know it, and I kick it off with an acoustic set at Housing Works on 9th Avenue, and then I will be returning to The Triad to perform with a full ensemble on Thursday, June 21, at 7 p.m. By Friday, it will be time to check out a few of the annual parties and hopefully crash on some unsuspecting couch on Fire Island! The best thing about Pride and summer is you never know what’s going to happen!

Looking good and feeling good is a lot of work, and we all know that. Work hard and good things come with it. To check out my album, please visit iTunes, and for tickets to my show at The Triad, visit brownpapertickets.com/event/246597
