Broods is an adorable music duo from New Zealand, made up of Caleb and Georgia Nott, brother and sister. While Georgia sings lead, Caleb is multi-instrumental and vocalizes backup singing. The two hail from a musical background where they would accompany their parents to their performances. The band debuted in the US on February 24th, 2014 in Hollywood California.
Their sound is definitely one of today. “Evergreen” is an incredibly awesome album to reflect upon. Georgia Nott has a beautiful, haunting quality to her voice, mixing well-written lyrics with virtuous melodies. The album combines ballads and tempos with a unique and original flair. I see a huge hit single in the song “L.A.F.” as it is upbeat with meaningful lyrics, such as “I never wanna be the one you forget.”
