“The Modern Gentlemen”

Selected by iconic rocker, Frankie Valli as his back up singers, “The Modern Gentlemen”, are talented, unique and very entertaining. Although performing with Frankie Valli for over a decade, the four  “Gentlemen” also perform and record on their own.

Consisting of: Brian Brigham, Brandon Brigham, Landon Beard, and Todd Fournier, their harmony is unsurpassed. They will be coming to New York starting October 21st to the 29th, along with Frankie at the “Lunt Fontanne Theatre’, a show that really shouldn’t be missed.

When you’re not being “The Four Seasons”, what do you do as “The Modern Gentlemen” music wise?
The four of us have been together as Frankie’s singers for well over a decade now so we’ve had an easy transition working as our own group.  We perform mainly the hits of 60s and 70s from some of our favorite groups we’ve been fortunate to share the stage with including The Beach Boys, Smokey Robinson, Manhattan Transfer, and of course, The Four Seasons.

Tell me the history of your group.
We were all personally selected by Frankie Valli himself to provide all the background harmonies and choreography on his tour.  Frankie loved the four of us together and “our sound” so much as we are a mix of the old school vocal groups of yesterday, but blended with a modern sound of today.  He asked us to collaborate and record a project as a tribute to his favorite artist, Frank Sinatra using our four part, tight harmonies. After working together in the studio on all these tunes and performing some of them live onstage with Frankie, we decided to start pursuing our goal to take this to the next level and start performing on our own.

What’s it like performing with an icon like Frankie Valli?
It’s been a great experience learning from a guy whose been doing this now for almost 60 years! We are like his kids and he’d be the first to tell you that. He’s watched us mature into our own as performers and I know he’s proud of us.  We’ve had some amazing moments together we’ll never forget like performing at Royal Albert Hall with the London Symphony Orchestra, The Proms in London for 40,000 people and performing live in DC for “A Capitol Fourth” just to name a few.  Pretty amazing experiences that are definitely once in a lifetime!  It’s been a fantastic journey joining the group long before “Jersey Boys” became a hit and then seeing the impact it’s made in elevating his career even further!

What did you do before “The Modern Gentlemen”?
We were all in demand singers and actors working in LA on TV/Film/Theatre projects.  All four of us actually used to sing at Disneyland and Universal Studios at one stage of our careers.

Is Brandon your brother?
Brandon is my brother.  You can’t beat that family harmony and we’ve been singing together our whole lives!

Do you write any original songs?
Brandon and Landon like to write songs and we are looking into recording some original material soon.

Any new projects on the horizon?
We just released our first CD called The Modern Gentlemen, Volume 1 and it’s available on our website, CD Baby, and iTunes.

Is there anything else that you would care to promote for yourself?
