PAM ANN TOUCHES DOWN IN NYC AT JOE’S PUB – Here Are Her Top 10 Things to Do in NYC in the Summer!

  1. Sex in the city
  2. Nothing beats staying home in my apartment in NYC, which overlooks Times Square, curled up in bed with some hot chocolate
  3. Living in midtown, you never really leave your own hood, but apparently Brooklyn and Williamsburg are full of hipsters and kale. No suggestions here, because I don’t leave Manhattan. Apparently Brooklyn has a great view of the city!
  4. Central Park in the Summer: grab your roller skates and join the outside roller disco. if you can’t skate, just go watch the skaters getting down to classic disco. I fucking live for this
  5. Nothing beats just hitting the streets of New York with no agenda, just Grindr and Tinder
  6. Bergdorf Goodman’s BG restaurant on the 7th Floor: best place to see the real upper east side ladies who don’t lunch. they just drink martinis and take in the breathtaking views of Central Park and Manhattan
  7. Of course, my favorite theatre/venue to see a show and perform myself (over the past 15 years—thank you Kiki and Herb for introducing me to Joe’s Pub back in 2002). The Public Theatre is also the birthplace of hit musical Hamilton, and Joe’s Pub at the Public Theatre has had the likes of Adele, Amy Winehouse, Amy Schumer, Justin Vivian Bond, Bridget Everett—the list goes on.  Always diverse, edgy and where you will discover shows and people before they become worldwide hits. I suggest taking in dinner pre-show at Indochine, which is directly across the road.
  8. Anywhere Lady Bunny is is guaranteed to be a riot of a good time. My favorite drag queen in the entire world and the most iconic. I love me some Bunny. if I could put her in a stew and eat her I would. Lady Bunny epitomizes NYC drag. she is NYC. if NYC had a face, it would be Lady Bunny. You think NYC is the city that doesn’t sleep? Lady Bunny has never shut her eyes!
  9. My favorite NYC club is my sistah LadyFag’s club 11:11. old skool club kids from all generations. Coolest club with the hottest, most creative hosts, including my BFF Marco Ovando, superstar photographer (he’s always busting a move). you will be surrounded by hotness and New York’s coolest club kids.
  10. Rent a bicycle in NYC for the day to play Pokemon Pam Ann and find my black box.
