My Chiffon Is Wet, inspired by superstar DJ Paisley Dalton’s CD release “My Chiffon Is Wet, Darlin!” is for fans of everything shiny, dreamy, fantasy and fairy. Hosted by NYC it-gurrrl Leo Gugu and photog Gerry Visco, art and visuals by Belgian cartoonist Piepke and London’s Prickimage and Alexander 6, and a shrinking violet soundtrack that includes plenty of chart-toppers like Rihanna, Britney Spears, Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj, plus old skool anthemic divas like Judy Garland, Shirley Bassey, Diana Ross, Donna Summer, Sylvester, Loleatta Holloway, Andrea True Connection, Chaka and more, more, more, MCW is one big tinkerbell ball for those who are definitely NOT STRAIGHT ACTING…and THE place to be on Thursdays in NYC! Recent guests/hosts include Marina & The Diamonds, Nomi Ruiz (Jessica 6), Cazwell, Amanda Lepore, Mykki Blanco and actor Alan Cumming, who says, “I love how everyone dresses up, and it reminds me of old places that aren’t here anymore.” Think of it as a six-hour Broadway show where the audience, armed with tambourines and Geisha fans, knows all the memorable lines and thrilling dance combinations.
