Live Review: Megan Hilty

A Tony…Tonight actress, singer, star of the hit series “Smash”, Megan Hilty announced her Tony nomination, for her part in the Broadway hit, “Noises Off”, at her opening night residency at the spectacular and opulent, “Cafe Carlyle”.

Adorned in a sexy, yet classy beaded, black gown, Megan took the stage at the intimate, Art Deco, Café Carlyle, and proceeded to impress the sold out crowd with her song and persona. Opening with, “Everything’s Coming Up Roses”, she immediately showcased her sonic vocal ability and roused the audience with her talent. She then continued to coax the  crowd into gently falling in love with her innocent comedy as she introduced the band, Matt Cusson, Piano and musical director, Dennis Keefe on bass, Ryan Hoagland mastering percussion, and finally her very “hot” husband, Brian Gallagher on vocals and guitar.

The Glamorous  blonde, mesmerized the congregation with a selection of “Rosemary Clooney’s” songs, as well as a song from the hit series “Smash”. Watching her, I felt as if I had gone back in time, to a calm, yet sparkling agenda

Megan Hilty will be at café Carlyle, until May 14th, definitely a show you can’t afford to miss.
