What one word describes you?
Driven.

How are you putting your stamp on today’s music?
My sound and my lyrics are very different from what’s out there right now. I unite energetic, dynamic electro beats together
with dubstep elements.

What inspires your songwriting?
Life. Good things, bad things, anything that really grabs my attention. It’s absolutely not my intention to preach or to point
fingers, but there are some things I truly believe need to be said.

Like what?
Like we cannot continue living like this, destroying the planet and exploiting its natural resources. I could scream all day long about it, but it wouldn’t help anything or anybody.

Socially conscious artists usually inhabit the soft rock genre. What attracted you to pop-dance?
I love music that moves people, music that brings the heart rate up and makes everyone want get up and dance. I think my
tracks prove it is possible to combine super hot beats with food for thought.

Tell us about the new single.
I am very excited and proud of “Follow the Light.” It’s about believing in all life’s goodness. Even when you feel like everything is colliding on top of your head, remember the light within you and that things are never as dark as they might seem. I think it is a true feelgood song. It starts off soft with spiritual notes but then builds and keeps on building into a powerful, electronic chorus.

It has a bit of Latin flavor.
Yes! I admire the way Latin people live their lives. I think we can learn a lot from their culture. I even recorded the track in Spanish. The Spanish version will be released as “Sigue La Luz.”

What is the biggest problem in North America?
Greed. The accumulation of wealth has become too important.

What do you hope listeners take away from the song?
I hope they begin to see that life is an incredible, beautiful journey. Every moment is unique and precious because it will never return.

Can one person really make change?
I don’t know. I can at least create a spark. Then maybe together we can make it all possible
