DJ Aron

DJ Aron has been spinning for 14 years at the largest circuit parties all over the world. He is a world-famous producer and has made his mark creating his own sound. Hailing from Tel Aviv and now residing in Spain, he will be coming to New York to play at Viva during Pride Weekend on June 27.

How long have you been a DJ?
I have been an international DJ, producer and remixer for 14 years.

What’s your most favorite party that you’ve done?
New York City, Madrid, Tel Aviv – my home country – and Brazil are a few of my favorite places to play.

You’re going to be at Viva for Pride this year, right?
Yes, I will be back in NYC playing at Viva during Pride Weekend, where I am also a resident DJ.

Was there anyone that inspired you when you began to DJ?
Junior Vasquez was a very big influence on me. I grew up listening to his music and, as an inspiring DJ, he was one of my idols.

What is your favorite thing about being a DJ?
My favorite thing about being a DJ is taking my passion for music and creating something great, and for it to be heard around the world. Also, I get to travel a lot and see different countries, meet different people and experience different cultures.  One of the most rewarding things about being a DJ is all the work you put into your craft, watching it grow and reaching a point when you have a lot of followers and fans that love what you do and your music.

What kind of music do you play?
Tribal house with high-energy vocals! I am always on top of remixing new releases by artists such Rihanna, Madonna, J-Lo, etc., and I also create my own sound by producing my own original music as well.

So you produce your own music?
Yes, I work with singer Beth Sacks. She’s becoming famous within the gay circuit scene. We have created many songs that became big anthems, and she’s a big part of my work.

You have records out there as well?
Most of my music is available on Beatport and iTunes, as well as soundcloud.com/dj-aron.

Is there anything else that you would like to promote or talk about?
Yes! For this Pride I will play at Viva with my good friend and amazing DJ Dani Toro from Spain! It will be a big party with great music and energy! I am also very happy to announce my new residency with WE Party. Also, be on the lookout for new music projects, remixes and tour dates!
