5 YEARS & ONLY GETTING STRONGER & HOTTER!

The go-to institution to find hot, manly, muscular but sweet jocks behind a bar in gay Manhattan has definitely become Boxers Bars. There is really no other place in Manhattan to always guarantee this hot mix of sexiness and a good time. Come watch these jocks do pull-up competitions in their newly installed swinging bars while you enjoy the best two-for-one happy hour after a long day of work.

The Chelsea flagship on 37 W. 20th St. keeps getting stronger and stronger, and now has sister locations in Hell’s Kitchen at 742 W. 50th Street, in Philly on 1330 Walnut Street and their newest equality bar called Shadow Boxers at 215 W. 40th Street. Carrying on with their annual tradition, all the semi-naked bartenders will be hosting the first big sports party of the year for Super Bowl XLIX—that’s number 49—which will be taking place at the University of Phoenix in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday, February 1, at 6:30 p.m.

This year’s halftime show, the most-watched musical-entertainment of the year, promises to be nothing short of a treat for gay clientele. Idina Menzel will sing the national anthem, and John Legend will sing “America the Beautiful,” while Lenny Kravitz will be joining Katy Perry and other special guests for an unforgettable halftime show. The Boxers bartenders will be wearing their signature football tights while they raffle off some great prizes. Enjoy that eye candy and their traditional free six-foot-long subs served at halftime!
Boxers Chelsea is not only the place to go to watch your favorite sports games while you down a few beers and eat their signature brick-oven pizza and wings—they also have fun theme nights, such as their recently launched interactive game night called MOGU. Clients get a chance to sign onto their smartphones and compete in trivia games to win prizes. On weekends, Boxers also offers the sounds of many well-known industry DJs to keep the party going past happy hour. On Fridays you can catch the beats of DJ Scotty Rox, along with DJ TK on Saturdays.

One thing that all Boxers locations continue to master quite well is that gay sports bars are not straight sports bars. They cater to the hardcore jocks and gay leagues that want to come view the SEC, AC, Big 12 college games on Saturday and then as many NFL games on Sunday as possible. But they continue to take into account that gay sports isn’t just turning on a TV and showing sports. They also realize that gay sports include new video music systems and interactive social media feeds placed throughout the bar. They will also be the official “RuPaul’s Drag Race” viewing destination this spring with Host Marti Gould Cummings in Chelsea and Paige Turner in HK. Hey…drag is also a sport, and the competition is tough!

So, if you want to come watch a game with some friends, see half-naked men, listen to the sounds and beats of a popular DJ, play an interactive game or just have a drink and enjoy some great food and ambience, Boxers bars are the places to have it all!
